Be prepared to wait in line and be surrounded by college students. Lots of seating so you don't have to sit in a noisy spot. I had their Cuban sandwich with Al Pastor. Absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and the grilled onions with cheese was tasty. It comes with a creamy sauce on the side which has a slight sweet taste that goes perfect on the sandwich. This place is a local gem and for good reason.

This lil spot has seating inside and outside. I had the chicken quesadilla with spinach, but think I would want to try steak fajitas or something next time and the fries, which looked seasoned. The tiny rice and beans were good that came with my quesadilla. The chips and queso were good. JO and JA had Tito's big burrito with steak. They thought it was ok. JO feels like he's been there, done that so I don't think it's his favorite. It's seat yourself but the server that brought our food was nice & even brought me some sour cream.

Always amazing experience! I love their yuca fries and platanos( crispy green plaintain) and also their Maduros (sweet plantain)! Also their chicken tacos and sammies are always amazing. Service is usually quick but after 5:30 there's usually always a line even on weekdays. I love their outdoor seating and the fact that you can bring your booze!

Everytime I tell the hubs "let's go to Cali n Tito's" he gets super hype. So today we decided to try their second Franchise. The ambiance is just as cool as the other one and their service was pretty basic order here and get your food later. Don't expect to get a waiter! The food was great and very flavorful. Overall it's a great spot to grab a bite in Athens.

Whenever we pass thru Athens GA we havre to stop at Cali N Tito's for the amazing Mexican Food. The Tamales are delicious! Also, we stop before we get there at the liquor store to pick up some Mexican Beer, then pay the bottle fee at the restaurant since the last time we went the do not serve beer.

Just found my new favorite Cubano at Cali N Titos on South Lumpkin St in Athens! Slightly edging out The Havana Sandwich Shop in Atlanta because the sandwich just THAT good. The bread is perfectly pressed, and the ham, pork, and cheese blend in with just the right amount of mustard. The original location might be smaller, but it's packed with charm inside and out. Plenty of benches outside and cozy tables inside. The chicken empanadas are great, and I have no doubt the beef are just as tasty. Don't miss out on the mora juice (blackberry) - I'll be ordering it every time, don't miss out on that drink. The tostones are a must-try, and the flan hits the spot. Order up front and grab your number, the staff will bring your food out to your table. It's going to be hard to beat this cubano #rolieats #CubanoHeaven #AthensEats #CaliNTitos #bestcubano

Cali n' Tito's is an Athens staple! I ordered the Cuban sandwich combo (#1) today. I like that they put their own twist on a traditional Cuban sandwich. Customers are able to add whatever meat they'd like, too. I chose chicken as my meat and it was full of flavor. Super good! I also love how eclectic the inside and outside is. Cali n' Tito's is one of a kind!

Still just as good as it has been for the past 15+ years. My friend's mango shake took a long time to arrive, even after asking about it twice, however, the food arrived very quickly. The staff was friendly and professional (although some of them were distracted by the futból match, haha). We sat inside because there was a chance of rain, but the patio area is spacious...though I do miss their macaw. I'll be returning, for sure.

As a returning customer, this is definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in Athens!! Reasonably priced, generous portions, friendly service, beautiful decor and pretty outdoor seating, and especially amazing food!! Great for nighttime casual dinners and large groups. Heavily recommend the steak Cubano and the tacu tacu - the cubanos are a bit pricey but so worth! The tacu tacu (pork) is so tender and comes with surprisingly amazing rice, sauce, and sides. The fries here are also so good!! The shakes are good but nothing special. I'd definitely take any recommendations the staff give, although mostly everything here is really good. Come with friends!!

Close to UGA, you find this fun and popular spot. Locals rave about it, and we had to try it. There is no table-side service. You order food at the counter, pay, and receive a number. Food will be delivered to your table. Food took a little to be ready, but you can see by the picture how busy it got. The bread for the sandwich is light and toasty; you can tell it is baked fresh. All the ingredients were fresh, and it worked together nicely. Prices were reasonable, and the portion was perfect. The sandwiches were $10, and I only ate half. I loved the fun college-town vibe.
